i had forgotten all about the five tibetan rites. i tried this about 7 or 8 years ago and really liked learning and mastering the movements, but i stopped doing them during a big move in my life. i never got up to 21 reps but this has re-inspired me to start over. i appreciate the note you made about going slow and advancing bit by bit, i feel less pressure that wya. Lovin your stack so far, keep goin!
Nice! Glad to hear you're going to give them a go again - they caught me off guard with how helpful they have been. I don't even know why they did. I used to do dynamic stretch routines I developed every single day for years... but I stopped when I stopped calisthenics years ago. Hopefully they go well for you, and thanks for reading!
i've been doing the Tibetan rites(of youth & vitality) for over 20 years now; a simple and brilliant way to start each day. i taught them to my folks who kept them up well into their senior years. based on a book by Peter Keldrid [i think]...it opens with the immortal line,' if you don't believe you can reverse the ageing process do not read any further'..
If you put your attention inward to your self and body you are not so likely to get dizzy. It’s when your attention is outward from your body that you get dizzy.

Sounds like a routine I'd like to try, thanks for sharing your story.
I do them too! Really don't look forward to the fourth one...
